Welcome back to everyone who has walked with us before and welcome to anyone new to the HD walk!

As you may or may not know Huntington’s Disease runs in the LaBarrie family and has affected family members in many different ways.

We are extremely excited for this years walk because all funds raised are going towards paying for a social worker to help aid families affected by HD in the San Diego area. This is a super important contact and support person that is really needed in this HD community.

Please be aware that the walk location has changed this year! We hope each year we can continue to grow our team and continue to raise important funds for research and support.

No donation is too small and any way you can support or spread awareness of this disease and the effects it has on all is so very appreciated.

We hope to see you all on October 6th!

-Emily and JP

HD is known as the quintessential family disease because every child of a parent with HD has a 50/50 chance of carrying the faulty gene. Today, there are 30,000 symptomatic Americans and more than 200,000 at-risk of inheriting the disease.
