Jennifer was one of the strongest women who ever lived.  She tackled this disease head on without fear and it is only recently she has moved on.

This year we are walking in her memory and will continue to fight so she can finally rest.

Jen was a fierce warrior who spoke to many groups about this disease including pre-med students and support groups.  She served as a Director of the Greater Los Angeles Chapter of the Huntington’s Disease Society of America.  She even found time to help develop the Peer Facilitator Training Program for HD support groups and develop the STAR Retreat for young at risk people.

We love you Jen and we will now pick up where you left off.  May you finally dance again and watch over us.

we wanted to share a poem Jen wrote for us.  She always knew everything before we did...

When Comes The Time

When comes the time

I cannot recall

Reach into my heart and know that

I remember

When comes the time

I cannot speak

Look into my eyes and hear that

I Love You

When comes the time

I cannot walk

Look upon the sky and see that

I am dancing

When comes the time

I cannot breathe

Tell me it’s okay to be with

The other angels

When comes the time

That you are alone

Close your eyes and feel that

I am with you
