We are the Foster parents of Lupe Gonzalez that has been diagnosed with HD. He came to live with us at age 16 after his mother was hospitalized with the same disease. Lupe went on to live his life, married and had 2 boys. About 3 years ago, he started having the same symptoms his mother had. And sadly, after testing, he was told of his diagnosis. There is no cure, and we know the prognosis is not good. None of us know when our time here will end... this is a reminder to live each day to the fullest. We remain optimistic and support Lupe and his family however we can.
