Education to nursing homes, schools, correctional facilities, or adult day care in the region.
Free Huntington’s Disease Educational Symposiums in Eastern Pennsylvania and Virginia.
Law Enforcement Education and Outreach—trained over 1,500 law enforcement officers across the Mid-Atlantic Region including districts in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia and West Virginia.
Encouraged HD families to support the HD Parity Act by reaching out to their Congressmen and Senators asking for their support which has resulted in over 221 co-supporters in the House and 13 co-supporters in the Senate of the HD Party Act—more than half of the House and closer than we have ever been to getting the bill passed!
