Please join us for the 7th Annual Little Rock, AR Team Hope Walk, Raffle & Glow Fall Festival on Saturday, September 29th, 2018!

Walk with us as we support HDSA's mission to improve the lives of everyone with Huntington’s disease!

Team Hope Walks aim to raise as much money possible in the local community to support the mission and services of the Huntington’s Disease Society of America. There are many different fundraising strategies you may use to have a successful fundraising campaign, and HDSA suggests you use all of them! To download the Team Hope Walk Participant Packet and check out the Team Hope website’s Fundraising Tips & Tools (including some fundraising webinars!) and Participant Resources sections.

We invite all local companies and small businesses to sponsor this Team Hope Walk. We depend on the generosity of sponsors, and by sponsoring a walk your company will be supporting a great cause as well as engaging in an exciting marketing opportunity within the local community. If your company is interested in sponsoring the walk, please email!

What is Huntington’s Disease?

Huntington’s disease is a fatal genetic disorder that causes the progressive breakdown of nerve cells in the brain. It deteriorates a person’s physical and mental abilities usually during their prime working years and has no cure. Every child of a parent with HD has a 50/50 chance of inheriting the faulty gene that causes the disease. Today, there are approximately 30,000 symptomatic Americans and more than 200,000 at-risk of inheriting the disease. The symptoms of Huntington’s disease are described as having ALS, Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s – simultaneously.

About Team Hope

Team Hope is HDSA’s largest national grassroots fundraising event.
